Behind Intent

  • Peyton LaFiette is the founder of INTENT Ministries, a Christian ministry created to help the next generation discover their identity in Christ, understand their God-given purpose, and faithfully live out their calling.

  • Peyton's passion for ministry began through opportunities to lead worship, teach students, speak about faith, and create meaningful spaces for people to grow. As a leader with Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Peyton has organized events, led worship, and taught faith-based lessons to students.

  • His experience also extends beyond ministry. Peyton has worked in event operations for Lubbock Christian University and Texas Tech Athletics, gaining experience in event planning, logistics, coordination, and creating meaningful experiences for large groups of people.

  • At just 18 years old, Peyton organized Lubbock's first ultramarathon at Lubbock Christian University and raised $13,000 to support the event, demonstrating an early passion for turning ideas into real-world experiences.

  • As a speaker and ministry leader, Peyton has also been given opportunities to speak to more than 300 students through LCU Chapel and Encounter Camp, addressing topics including faith, character, reputation, leadership, and personal growth.

  • Through INTENT Ministries, Peyton hopes to build more than a conference. He hopes to build a movement that points people toward Christ and reminds them that their lives were created on purpose and called for a reason.
